Raut Family from Pauni , Dist : Bhandara , Maharashtra is an ancient Nag Vanshi royal family whose Aadi Purush or Originating is from Nag Vanshi king Nag Mandar .

Rauts do not eat Pork . It is taboo for them . They observe Dussahara , Nag Paanchami , Shiv Ratri etc festival very fondly and dedicated .
